How far in advance of the campaign start date do you require artwork?
This depends on the media, but we usually require artwork 3 weeks prior to the start of a campaign. This is because the contractors require artwork 2 weeks prior to an in-charge and we need time to print and deliver the artwork.
Is there a minimum booking period?
Again, this depends on media. Poster sites can be booked for as little as 2 weeks, Ad Vans can be booked for the day, buses can be booked for 4 weeks, petrol nozzles can be booked for 4 weeks.
Is there a minimum spend?
The majority of our bookings do not carry a minimum spend. However, despite our efforts, some of our contractors do require a minimum spend for media. We will always highlight this if it applies when we’re planning campaigns.
Can I cancel a booked campaign?
Usually yes, but to ensure there is no charge then please send written notice 90 days prior to the campaign start date. Please note, all cancellations are at the discretion of the media owner.
Can I choose the campaign start date?
Outdoor media follows posting cycles so this will depend on what you are doing. We can advise on start dates, posting cycles and availability – usually fortnightly.
Why is my poster not up on the in-charge date?
Posters will not necessarily be posted on the in-charge date. This is because there are usually posting periods (contractors cannot post all sites on one day). We can find out when it is likely to be posted and, if it is date critical, we can discuss this with you. However, it is usually within 5 days of the in-charge date.
Is it too early to plan next year’s campaign?
No! We can take bookings up to 18 months in advance. We recommend customers plan ahead as availability is better.
How do I get artwork specs?
Once a campaign is booked, we will send you the correct artwork specs, along with all deadlines. We will then send reminders out nearer the time, so nothing falls through the net!
When will I hear from you?
We endeavour to reply to all emails within 24 hours, though it may take longer if we are working on large briefs. However, we always respond to emails and enquiries to let you know when we expect to issue a full response.
If you have a strict deadline, please share that with us and we will do our best to ensure you have everything you need in plenty of time.
What’s the difference between a 48 sheet and an HD48?
HD means High Definition due to poster print quality. It’s a poster printed on a vinyl skin – print is always included in the cost.
What’s the difference between a 48 sheet and B48?
B48s – ‘B’ stands for Back-lit. These are sites illuminated from behind.
What’s the difference between a 48 sheet and S48?
S48s – ‘S’ stands for Scrolling – this will be a motorised scrolling billboard with 3 ad panels and will have 3 advertisers sharing space on a loop.
Why do I have to reprint artwork every 2 weeks for scrollers?
Scrollers are stitched together so every 2 weeks, whether or not you’re changing a design, a new print has to be used.
